Abstract: This study presents the first record of marine suctorian Thecacineta oregonensis (Murphy, 1965) and its occurrence as an epibiont on sea spider Ammothella appendiculata (Dohrn, 1881) from Sandspit Karachi, Pakistan. This is the first record of a marine suctorian epibiont on a sea spider in the world. In the present study, only individuals of A. appendiculata were found infested. This study contributed to knowledge of marine arthropods as the host of suctorian epibiont.
