dc.description.abstractA software program to compute primers for metallothionein (MT) genes has been developed. The program referred to as Gprimer is an algorithm that follows a unique concept of primer selection by identifying the functionally active regions of MT genes. The program has been tested successfully in silico with available MT genes.
