| Abstract: | The First Stage Support (FSS) system of a launcher based on slider-crank mechanism is presented. The unit has to withstand high magnitude of load and operates at high speed. Study includes dynamic analysis of FSS theoretically to examine effects of different parameters at design stage and experimentation to establish the desired reliability. Unit has been designed, fabricated and its performance has been studied for final installation on launcher. |
