Abstract: The paper discusses in detail the establishment, performance evaluation and software validation of automatic bank of DC reference standard, which is traceable to primary standard of voltage. The bank is used for calibration of reference standard/industrial instruments in dc voltage at par to the international level and for the dissemination of unit of volt in the country. The average values of Device Under Calibration (DUC), assigned using bank of DC reference standard in automatic and manual mode, are 10.000 0061 ± 0.000 0044 V and 10.000 0060 ± 0.000 0046 V respectively. The difference between their average values and expanded uncertainty are 0.1 x 10-6 V and ± 0.2 x 10-6 V respectively and are within the permissible limit of the stability of the reference voltage.
