|Title:||Production and optimization of cellulases on pretreated groundnut shell by Aspergillus terreus AV49|
Vyas, K M
|Series/Report no.:||C 07 C 223/02|
|Abstract:||Biochemical parameters (effect of alkali of different concentration, substrate concentration, nitrogen sources, effect of Ca++, effect of amino acid) were evaluated to optimize cellulase production by Aspergillus terreus on groundnut shell. 1N NaOH, 5% substrate concentration, 2 mM calcium concentration were optimum for cellulase production. Metheonine, asparagine and tryptophan were found to be stimulatory for cellulase activity.|
