Abstract: Callus cultures and <i style="">in vitro </i>plant development of <i style="">Momordica charantia </i>L<i style="">.</i> were establishment on Murashige and Skoog’s (MS) medium using different concentrations and combinations of auxins and cytokinins. Further, qualitative and quantitative production of flavonoids in callus cultures and different <i style="">in vitro </i>developmental stages were studied by using thin layer chromatography and spectrophotometric analysis. Presence of three flavonoids was detected and the maximum amount of total flavonoid content was observed in 6-wkold callus cultures (2.90 mg/g dry wt). While in different<i style=""> in vitro </i>morphogenetic stages, the maximum amount of total flavonoid content was observed in multiple shoots (2.96 mg/g dry wt).<b style=""></b>
