| Abstract: | Development of an effective malaria vaccine remains one of the biggest challenges faced by modern science. Although in the last decade tremendous advances have taken place in the design, construction and testing of malaria vaccines, many questions still remained unanswered. This review highlights exclusively some of the exciting and most recent progress in the development and clinical testing of candidate malaria vaccines and points out some of the outstanding scientific issues and technological challenges that must be met to develop a successful vaccine. |
