Abstract: This paper analyses the MANET with Enhanced Trust-based AODV (ET-AODV) routing model for detection and discarding of various attack. An enhanced Trust-based AODV routing has been proposed to ensure security in MANET. The performance is analyzed based on varying node densities based on control overheads, throughput, packet delivery ratio and normalized routing overheads. The main idea of the proposed technique is to identify the vulnerable misleading nodes in the network under rushing attack based on the responses with the route requests and the replies by the other nodes in the network. As post identification measured, calculation and maintenance of trust values are done, based on the predetermined threshold which decided whether the node will be included or excluded from the route.
