Authors: Dhar, Ravi
Issue Date: Mar-2002
Publisher: CSIR
Abstract: The paper discusses the patenting on genes as well as potential patents on gene fragments of unknown biological functions. Also discussed are ESTs,SNPs and their implications in identifying and mapping multiple genes associated with complex human diseases and some forms of neurological disorders.
