Abstract: This review discusses various handling equipments and the role of material handling systems in engineering industries. Flow of material through ecosystem of an industrial society is the physical manifestation of its substance, productivity and wealth. A brief explanation on the material handling interests and activities are also highlighted. Simulation models are precisely given to generate the expert system software for handling systems.
