Abstract: The computer-based analysis of the pH titration data obtained in the M - A - B[M = Cu(II)/Zn(II); A = L-aspartic acid (aspt) and iminodiacetic acid (imda) and B = DL- 2, 3-diaminopropionic acid (dapa), DL-2, 4-diaminobutyric acid (daba), and DL-Omithine (Orn)] mixed ligand systems show the presence of mixed species of the types MABH2, MABH and/or MAB in addition to the various binary species due to ligands A and B. The modes of binding of ligands in various species are discussed on the basis of the results obtained.
