Abstract: The mixed ligand complexes of Cr(III), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(I) and Zn(II) picrates with isonicotinic acid hydrazide (INH) of the type [M(pic)n (INH) (MeOH)n (where n = 1,2 or 3) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, conductance, molecular weight, magnetic  susceptibility, electronic, IR and EPR spectra. The investigations indicate that metal ions have octahedral structure but low symmetry distortion exists in some cases.
