| Abstract: | New 2,4-diaryl-6-(5-methyl-1-p-tolyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4- yl)pyridine derivatives have been prepared via the Kröhnke reaction of 1-[2-(5-methyl-1-p-tolyl-1H-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)-2-oxoethyl]-pyridinium bromide and a series of  ,β-unsaturated ketones. One pot reaction is used in synthesis procedure. All new compounds are investigated by 1H NMR, MS, IR spectral data and elemental analyses. |
