| Abstract: | The finding of obtuse barracuda, Sphyraena obtusata from a Ramsar site of India, Chilika lagoon of Odisha coast is presented. This is the first record of this species from the lagoon as well as from a brackishwater ecosystem. The details of morphology, morphometric and meristic characters are also discussed. |
