Abstract: Nanoparticles are increasingly present in a greater number of sectors, from construction, medicine or pharmacy to the textile or automotive sector. Their use is increasing due to their special properties and benefits, but their negative effects on human health and the environment must not be ignored. Therefore, it is necessary to use specific environmental management software in enterprises that evaluates exposure to nanoparticles in order to implement measures that mitigate or eliminate them. This paper aims at presenting and comparing the 5 most known software tools worldwide, since it is a field still in the process of development. After conducting a content analysis of each of them, the work is concluded with a comparison of them quantifying the analysis performed.
