Abstract: Hydrogen is one of clean and environmentally friendly fuel, and it has been regarded as the most promising source of energy. Water electrolysis which is combined renewable energy is the most promising renewable energy sources and the easiest to obtain high-purity hydrogen production method among many methods of hydrogen production. In this study hydrothermal synthesis IrO2/RGO catalyst, and the use of Raman spectroscopy (Raman), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis for catalyst material properties. After completion of synthesis catalyst, in order to investigate the electrochemical experiments related to deposition and hydrogen production. Experimental results show that hydrogen production process discovered homemade electrode catalyst. It can significantly increase the quantity of output in the bubble, in the case of the rotational speed 250rpm, the coating amount 30μL, and 2 coating layer, has the best electrochemical characteristics. If electrolysis catalyst electrodes 2000 rpm rotation, the overall efficiency of hydrogen production capacity up to 68.5%.
