dc.description.abstractExtraction of molybdenum(VI) by triisodecylamine (Alamine 310) from HCIO4 solution is very poor. The presence of SCN- ion makes the extraction quantitative from 0.2 M acid solution. Extraction of the metal by bis (2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid (Cyanex 301) is quantitative in the lower acidity range (0.2-0.4 M). Synergism is marked in the extraction of the metal by the mixture of Cyanex 301 and Alamine 310.en_US
