Abstract: A few metal complexes of ɑ-oximinoacetoacet-o/p-anisidide thiosemicarbazones (OAOATS)/(OAPATS) with Ni(II), Co(II), Zn(II), Mn(II), Hg(II), Cd(II) and UO2(II) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analyses, conductivity, differential scanning calorimetry study, thermo-gravimetric analyses and infrared and electronic spectral measurements in conjunction with magnetic susceptibility measurements at room temperature. They have also been tested for their antimicrobial activities.
