|Title:||Influence of preparation on dispersion and activity of silica supported vanadia catalysts|
|Authors:||Reddy, B N|
|Abstract:||The influence of precursors of vanadium, employed during preparation of the silica supported vanadia catalysts on the dispersion and catalytic activity for ammoxidation of 3-picoline has been reported. The characterization studies by oxygen chemisorption and irreversible ammonia adsorption reveal that the vanadia derived from vanadyl acetylacetonate (VAA) results in high dispersion of vanadia and good 3-picoline ammoxidation activity.|
