Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the metal concentrations in muscles and livers of commercially important ten fish species from the coastal waters of Southeastern Black Sea. Metal levels in livers of species were greater than those in muscles. This study provides valuable information about metal contents in muscles and livers of the examined fish species and indirectly indicates the environmental contamination of the coast. According to the obtained results, it may be said that consumption of the edible muscle tissues of fish from this region by humans is not a risk.
