|Abstract:||It has been found that the initial rate of persulphate decomposition in the persulphate concentration range of 0.40 x 10-2 to 3.00 x 10-2 moldm-3 and the monomer, methacrylonitrile (MAN), concentration range of 0.16 to 0.40 mol dm-3 may be given by the following expression,|

A reaction scheme has been suggested to explain the kinetic data.
