| Abstract: | New derivatives of dihydropyridine and dihydropyrimidone are synthesized by Hantzsch cyclization and modified Bignelli’s cyclization, respectively. The antimicrobial activity of these compounds is also described. The compounds 2a, 3d, 3e and 3f show good activity. |
