|Abstract:||A few symmetrical tetradentate schiff base (TSB) complexes of the type [M(TSB)], [where M=Cr(lll), Co(ll), Ni(ll), Cu(ll),Zn(ll), Vo(ll) and UO2(ll); TSB derived from 4-acyl pyrazolone (4-acyl = 4-propionyl or 4-butyryl) and 1,4-butylene diamine] have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, conductance, magnetic susceptibility measurements, electronic, infrared, ESR spectral and TGA studies.|
