Abstract: Stability constants of ternary complexes of Zn(II) and Cd(II) containing catechol or analogue (A) and amino acids or dipeptides (L) have been determined potentiometrically in aqueous medium at 25°C and ionic strength of 0.2 M (NaClO4) using SCOGS computer program. The less negative or positive log K values have been explained in terms of intramolecular interligand interaction.
