Title: Thermodynamics and topological investigations of molecular interactions in methylene bromide + nitrobenzene mixture

Abstract: Molar excess volumes, VE, and molar excess enthalpies, HE for methylene bromide(i) + nitrobenzene(j) mixture have been measured as a function of composition at 308.15 K. Graph-theoretical analysis of VE data suggests that while nitrobenzene exists as equilibrium mixture of monomer and dimer in this mixture, the mixture as such contains a 1:1 molecular complex. IR and NMR studies lend further credance to this viewpoint.
