| Abstract: | Our world harbours a rich source of medicinal plants which are used in treatment of
wide range of diseases. The present review highlights the traditional uses, chemical constituents
and pharmacological properties of Kigelia africana (Lam.) Benth. syn. K. pinnata (Jacq.)
DC. This plant has great potential to be developed as drug by pharmaceutical industries but before
recommending its use in modern system of medicine, clinical trials are to be done. |
