Title: The interionic forces in copper, silver and thallium halide molecules

Abstract: Interionic forces in copper, silverand thalliu m halide molecu les have been calculated using Truncated Rittner model which is modified by incorporating (i) the new uses of molecular state polarizability (ii), van der Waals dipole-dipole interaction and (iii) repulsive interactions of the Hellmann, Varshni-Shukla and Ali-Hasan types. The values of dipole moment binding energy • rotation-vibration coupling constant and vibrational anharmonicity constant are calculated using four different models and found to be good agreement with the experimental data.
