|Title:||Synthesis and characterization of a new phase of titanium tungstate|
|Abstract:||A new phase of an inorganic ion exchanger, titanium tungstate, has been prepared with good ion exchange properties. The material has been characterized by elemental, thermal and spectral analysis (FTIR) and surface area measurements. Ion exchange capacity has been determined and distribution behaviour for several metal ions has been studied. The utility of this exchanger is shown by carrying out some binary separations of metal ions.|
