Title: Solute-solvent interaction in aqueous mannitol at different temperatures- A density study

Abstract: The partial molal volumes of sodium and potassium acetates have been determined in 0.5 mol dm- 3 aqueous mannitol from density measurements in varying ranges of concentration at different temperatures. The density data have been analysed by means of Masson's equation. The coefficients of thermal expansion, and the apparent d partial molal expansibility of solutions of sodium an potassium acetates have also been determined in this solvent. The results reveal the nature of solute-solvent interaction in this solvent.
