|Title:||Synthesis and characterization of trans-[OsBr4(SMe2)2]: The first monothioether complex of osmium (IV)|
|Abstract:||The title complex has been synthesized in excellent yield by oxidizing mer-[OSBr3(SMe2)3] with excess bromine in benzene at room temperature. Its geometry is characterized by X-ray crystallography. The OsIV/Oslll reduction potential is 0.45 V vs. SCE.|
