Scatter plot of heavy minerals percentages and grain size of samples indicates higher percentages of heavy minerals in medium to fine size sands Garnets, pyroxenes and kyanites are relatively more in the coarse fractions while opaques and amphiboles are concentrated in fine fractions. Higher density index and lower shape index values correspond to higher percentage of opaque minerals in fine fractions and garnets in coarse fractions respectivelyen_US
