Abstract: This paper describes design steps with experiments carried out for charcoal stove (SEES) to interlink efficiency and various design parameters. Important parameters affecting energy efficiency are amount of air supplied (flue gas temp.), retention time of flue gas in stove, insulation and skirt gap. Skirt gap is most important parameter for higher efficiency of SEES prototype.
