Abstract: The dispersion relations and cut-off frequencies for the two modes of propagation, viz. the TE and TM modes are examined for guided waves in moving anisotropic plasma. The dispersion relation for TE modes is not changed by the relative motion of plasma inside the waveguide, while for TM modes it gets modified significantly. The cut-off frequency, too, for TE modes is unaffected by the moving plasma, whereas the cut-off frequency for perturbed TM waveguide modes is changed by a term solely dependent on the velocity of the plasma.
