Title: Characteristics of Waveguide Containing Moving Solid State Plasma in the Presence of Longitudinal Magnetic Field

Abstract: From a study of the dispersion relations for the two modes of electromagnetic wave propagation, namely, transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) existing inside a rectangular waveguide filled with relativistically moving uniaxial anisotropic solid state plasma, it is found that the properties of TE modes (propagation and cut-off' frequency characteristics) are the same as those of moving non-dispersive dielectric-filled waveguides, while the properties of TM modes having new cut-off frequency and modes of propagation significantly change and also depend on the drift velocity and plasma parameters. Furthermore, because the parameter ϵ'ss involving the microwave signal frequency, scattering frequency and plasma frequency, does not enter explicitly into the formulae which express the transverse components of fields in terms of axial components, the characteristic wave impedance and power flow have the same form as for a moving dielectric medium.
