Abstract: The effect of collision frequency on the characteristics of rectangular and parallel plane waveguides containing relativistically moving anisotropic warm lossy plasma has been studied theoretically. In the case of rectangular waveguide, the TE modes are found to be the same as those for a free space waveguide. However, the characteristics of TM modes get modified depending on plasma parameters, relative motion as well as waveguide dimension. In the case of parallel plane waveguide, both TM and TEM modes depend on relative motion, but in the case of moving lossless plasma, only the TM mode depends on relative motion.
