|Title:||A Conjugate-Station Study of Low & Mid-Latitude F-region Storm time Response|
|Abstract:||The variations in F2-region peak height and electron density at equatorial, low and mid-latitude stations in the east longitude zone are studied during a highly disturbed interval during Aug.-Sep. 1966. Simultaneous consideration of hmax F2 and foF2 shows these to be interrelated in a manner which is dependent on latitude and local time, and which is altered by magnetic disturbance. The relationship between the two parameters can yield information on the dynamics of the plasma. The effect of the main phase of the torm is to increase hmax F2 at equatorial and mid-latitudes by values ranging from 50 to 150 km.|
