Title: Radiation Beams from Three Annular Plasma Layers Waveguide Excitation

Abstract: The radiation patterns of open-ended waveguide excited in TM01 and TE01 modes in three annular plasma layers having central conductor along its axis are studied. The radiation field is obtained as a vector sum of field components due to individual rings of current (both magnetic and electric). This type of configuration gives rise to well enhanced radiation beams beyond the critical angle corresponding to the plasma layer having the least relative dielectric constant. The directions of these radiation beams can be changed by changing the plasma density.
