Title: Effect of Ground Conductivity on VLF Radiation from Lightning

Abstract: Radiated power in VLF range from lightning discharges over different types of ground is calculated. The effect of ground conductivity is found to be maximum on the radiation from horizontal lightning. Radiation from return stroke is found to be unaffected. Probable use in the measurement of ground conductivity at VLF has been discussed.
