Abstract: Electron density profile measured at 1ᵒS by the Radio Science Experiment on Voyager 1 indicates a depleted equatorial inonosphere at Saturn. The value of the peak electron density on this measurement is quite close to the one speculated by us earlier and thus provides further evidence on the equatorial anomaly in the ionosphere of Saturn.
