|Title:||A filter tilting photometer for nightglow measurements of 630.0 nm emission line|

|Abstract:||The salient features of a high resolution tilting photometer have been presented. Three such photometers are currently installed at Kolhapur (geogr. lat., 16.8°N; long, 74.2°E; dip. lat., 10.6°N) to study the spatial and temporal characteristics of 630.0 nm emission line at low latitude. Preliminary nightglow data are presented and discussed in the light of developing neutral atmospheric models for the low latitude and equatorial region, especially in the Indian sector.|
