Abstract: Synthesis of some new bisisoxazoline derivatives have been described from terepthaldehyde derived bisnitrones using microwave irradiation via 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction. Bisisoxazoline derivatives have been in turn successfully converted into new bisaziridine derivatives via Baldwin rearrangement. Simple reaction methodology, greener approaches, non involvent of catalysts, good to excellent yields are the important features highlighted in this synthesis.
