Abstract: Thecacineta calix, a suctorian epibiont, attached to the cuticle of nematodes, Desmodora schulzi and D. communis are reported from the mid tide mark of the intertidal sediments of southwest Bay of Bengal. The epibiont T. calix is reported for the first time from the intertidal zone of Bay of Bengal.
