Abstract: The volume expansion and bulk modulus data due to Anderson have been extrapolated by modification of previously used relationships for ionic materials viz. NaCl, KCl, MgO and CaO. The empirically modified relationships provide the non-linear models for the variation of both thermal expansivity and bulk modulus with temperature. The results are found to be in close agreement with the experiment which in turn reveals the validity of present work.
