Abstract: | A new type of digital instrument has been developed for measuring thermal insulation value of various jute products using two-plate method. The instrument is based on a microprocessor and provides automatic results in ‘tog’ for the material under test. It requires no preparation of test samples if the area of the sample is not less than 700 cm2. The test is non-destructive and process of sample preparation is free from human error. |
