Abstract: Worsted spinning limits of Rambouillet, Rambouillet × Chokla (1/2), Rambouillet × Chokla (5/8), Rambouillet × Chokla (3/4), Chokla and Corriedale sheep wool have been determined. The effect of fibre fineness on spinning limit is highly significant. It is observed that one unit decrease in fibre fineness increases the yarn spinning limit by 1.63 units.
