Title: Nature of Fibre Breakage Caused by the Combing Roller of a Rotor Spinner
Authors: Salhotra, K R

Issue Date: Dec-1983
Publisher: NISCAIR-CSIR, India
Abstract: Fibre separation in rotor spinning by the combing roller not only reduces the mean length of the fibres but also changes the entire length distribution pattern of the input material. The length distribution of fibres after opening shows distinctly the generation of short fibres. The broken segments of the fibres follow an exponential distribution.
