Abstract: The stress-strain characteristics and dependence of curve parameters on tex of rabbit hairs obtained from six genetic groups, viz. German, British, Russian, German × British, German × Russian and German × British × Russian angora rabbit, are reported. The results do not differ much for the variance analysis of unadjusted means except in the case of post yield slope (PY), breaking load (BL) and stress at 30% extension (F30). The adjusted means of PY with respect to tex do not differ significantly whereas the differences between groups are observed in the case of BL and F30 Based on the homogeneity tests, common regression coefficients of curve parameters on tex are obtained in the case of PY, BL, tenacity at break and extension at break.
