Abstract: Increase in modal (Md) content in Md blended fabrics lowers the flex and flat abrasion resistance in both dry and wet conditions, which are further lowered with increasing level of laundering. The wear life of Md blends increases with increase in polyester or cotton content, as assessed by wear index.
