Abstract: Fibre linear density plays a key role in determining the flexural rigidity and elastic recovery of mjs yarns. The feed ratio, main draft, nozzle pressure and production speed have significant influence on flexural rigidity. The variation in either second nozzle pressure or production speed has little effect on elastic recovery. The elastic recovery, however, increases with the increase in feed ratio, main draft and first nozzle pressure.
