Abstract: Fibre reversal is more during peeling-off of the fibre from rotor groove in comparison to that during fibre deposition at rotor groove. Fibre reversal at rotor groove first decreases and then increases with the increase in rotor speed, whereas it increases with the increase in opening roller speed. The percentage of reversed fibres during peeling-off increases on increasing rotor speed but it is not influenced by the increase in opening roller speed and rotor diameter.
